Christmas at Sandcastle Cottage

Sandcastle Cottage sleeps up to 5 people plus a baby and is well equipped for guests who want to cook that special family Christmas Dinner. We have a large kitchen/dining room with room to entertain. There is ample crockery as well as pots, pans, roasting tin, casserole dishes, serving dishes, cheese board and coffee maker. For our younger guests we also provide a high chair and travel cot free of charge if required.

There is a range of shops in Crail where you will find everything you need to entertain over the festive period. Click on the link “shops” and read our blog. No need to bring the turkey with you. The local butcher Penman’s will take orders. There are also a number of farm shops in the area who supply christmas trees, special treats and fine wines. See our blog entitled Farm Shops.

Whilst we can’t guarantee snow there are some lovely walks along the seafront at Roome Bay (only 2 minutes walk from the cottage) or nearby beaches at Kingsbarns or Elie.

The houses in Crail and the East Neuk are small. If you have family living in the area and want to spend Christmas together renting Sandcastle Cottage may be an option for you.

If you wish to go to church at Christmas time, then Crail Parish Church always welcomes visitors. Most Holy Trinity Church, Crail too.

Please note we are already booked for New Year 2018.
