Kingsbarns Beach

This is a wonderful stretch of beach and is very popular throughout the year. If you don’t want to take food with you the Cheesy Toast Shack provides excellent hot and cold snacks throughout the year.  There are ample picnic tables all near the car park and the beach. The beach is long with lots of sand, flat, shallow and ideal for swimming, paddling, and building sandcastles. It’s a favourite spot for barbeques as the car park is not too far to carry any cooking equipment.

Fife Coast and Countryside Trust who manage the beach and car parking area have recently added a new toilet block.

A long stretch of sand awaits, backed by dunes, the Fife Coastal Path and the Kingsbarns Golf links. A good beach for a walk even if it’s not sunbathing weather. It also offers the possibility of a walk up through woodland to Cambo House. There is a tearoom, a glorious walled garden and different features and exhibitions which change with the seasons. Entry fee is £6.50 per person.
