The property was upgraded at the beginning of 2020. The upgrade included a new central heating boiler, new radiators in the dining room, new floor coverings in the dining room, hallway, lounge, and both bedrooms, new lighting in the dining room and lounge and replacement of the showers in both the main bathroom and upstairs ensuite.
In 2024 all the windows at the front of the cottage were replaced with double glazed units preventing heat loss and making the cottage more energy efficient.
