When staying at Sandcastle Cottage you are never far away from some great walks and amazing wildlife. The Fife Coastal Path passes your doorstep.
If you are planning on doing some of the walks listed here we would recommend you bought a map of the area. We find it helps in the planning stage especially if you have not visited the area before. Click on the link below to purchase your map. We have also found our Walking Poles invaluable. good protections for the knees!
With all of our walks it is useful to have a bird book or an App on your phone. You are guaranteed to spot a lot of birds you don’t know.
Many of our walks are along farm tracks and open countryside. We would encourage everyone to read the Scottish Outdoor Access Code which covers your rights under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, how to act responsibly and how to enjoy the benefits of walking in the countryside.
