As we’re only 10 miles from St Andrews and two minutes walk from a beach you’ll find Crail with it’s historic harbour a great place if you’ve left it to the last minute to book a self catering cottage holiday. With good food shopping only a few minutes walk away, you can self-cater here without much preparation, just pack your case and arrive.

If you want to eat out you are within walking distance from the Golf Hotel and Balcomie Links Hotel in Crail High Street and Balcomie Road as well as two cafes The Beehive in the High Street and The Crail Harbour Gallery at the Harbour. Crail also has an excellent Fish & Chip shop.
If you are looking for fine dining then The Cellar in Anstruther has a Michelin star. We would also recommend The Shoregate in Crail High Street, Craig Millar at St Monans harbour and the Bistro Dory in Pittenweem.
