Golf Breaks St Andrews, St Andrews is known the world over as the “Home of Golf”. It is the home of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club. The Open Championship is played there every five years. Fife Coastal Path Tayport to Balmerino offers the walker some superb views across the Tay Estuary towards Broughty Ferry and Dundee. Much of the path follows the old railway line between Tayport and Dundee which closed in 1966 shortly before the opening of the Tay Road Bridge. This is a relatively easy walk. You don’t need boots or stout walking shoes as much of the walk is on tarmac pavements or cycle paths. The only part that is not is the part between Wormit and Balmerino. Read more

This is probably one of my favourite parts of the Fife Coastal Path as it takes in two great beach walks as well as a spectacular view of the East Neuk towns and villages from the top of Kincraig.Point
